We try to do real time billing so that the encounters are entered into the online billing system right after seeing the patient. I am also able to attach my H & P's and Progress Notes and scan them right into the patients record so that each medical note is attached to each encounter. My staff and I had about one hour of online training and have been able to use the system very efficiently because it is very intuitive. Now the company is offering a free EMR system which includes e-prescribing and online scheduling.
